Green Beryl

This natural, untreated green beryl, weighing 0.24 ct, was cut from a 14.5 ct rough crystal. Together with its larger, 1.86 ct oval-cut sister stone, it originated from the same original crystal and preserves its delicate play of color in a particularly delicate form.

Depending on the angle of light and the viewing angle, the stone displays primarily fresh mint-green and soft yellowish hues. This subtle pleochroism gives it a vibrant, ever-changing radiance and allows the crystal’s various color nuances to stand out clearly despite its small size.

The green beryl is eye-clean. Its high transparency allows light to flow effectively through the crystal and enhances the bright, open color effect. As a result, the stone appears fresh, clear, and remarkably brilliant.

Why is the yield so low?
When cutting a gemstone, the focus is not on achieving the highest possible final weight, but on achieving the best possible combination of color, clarity, brilliance, and proportions.
