This exceptional natural, untreated sapphire, weighing 2.31 ct, was cut from a rough crystal weighing 11.43 ct. It was cut from the same rough material as a sister stone weighing 1.37 ct. Its size alone is remarkable for a sapphire with this unique orange-pink color effect, giving the stone a correspondingly impressive presence.

Its color ranges from orange to pink, and its warm, rare combination is reminiscent of the coveted padparadscha color palette. The color distribution is not entirely uniform: deeper and lighter areas blend together naturally, causing the stone to appear slightly different depending on how the light hits it.

Inside, the sapphire is crisscrossed by clearly visible growth lines that form a delicate natural pattern. Added to this are sparkling particles and light reflections that flash repeatedly with movement. The edges also feature faint black natural inclusions, which recede into the background in the overall appearance and hardly detract from the stone’s central color impression. Together, these characteristics give the sapphire a distinctly natural and unique internal structure.

The precisely executed pear cut gives the 2.31-ct sapphire an elegant, flowing silhouette.
