This exceptionally beautiful, natural, and untreated tourmaline, weighing 1.33 ct, was cut from the same 9.13 ct rough crystal. Together with its 0.97 ct cushion-cut sister stone, it was cut from the same original crystal and also displays the fascinating play of colors ranging from turquoise blue to green and yellowish-green hues.

The fresh, vibrant color effect of this tourmaline is particularly appealing. Depending on the angle of the light and the viewing angle, its appearance changes significantly: at times a cool turquoise-blue hue stands out, at other times a clear, vibrant green, and then again a warmer yellowish-green shade. Combined with its very strong brilliance, this creates an exceptionally dynamic and three-dimensional effect.

The stone exhibits only barely visible natural growth features, which recede noticeably into the background visually. They do not detract from either the clear overall appearance or the intense brilliance, but merely subtly highlight the crystal’s natural formation.
