This natural, untreated tourmaline, weighing 0.54 ct, was cut from a rough crystal weighing 1.83 ct. Its vivid green-blue color, with an almost petrol-like effect, gives it a striking, deeply saturated, and at the same time exceptionally interesting appearance.

The color effect is distinctly lagoon-like, yet somewhat darker and more intense than in the lighter examples of this color group. Depending on the angle of the light, blue-green, green, and petrol-like hues stand out to varying degrees, lending the stone a remarkable sense of depth.
