This beautiful, natural, and untreated tourmaline - weighing 0.53 ct - was carved from a 4.21 ct rough crystal and features a delicate color gradation ranging from warm pink to a lighter shade of pink.
It is precisely this natural color gradient that gives it a special depth. Depending on the viewing angle, some areas appear slightly more intense, while others appear more transparent and lighter, so that the stone appears to change slightly when held up to the light.
Despite visible natural growth features and small inclusions along the edges, this tourmaline possesses excellent transparency. The geometric cut clearly captures the light and produces bright, precise reflections that further emphasize its open and vibrant appearance.
The natural zoning remains clearly visible, giving the stone its distinctive character without compromising its brilliance.
A delicate pink tourmaline with a clear play of light, beautiful transparency, and a natural color gradient that gives it a charm all its own.
The pink Tourmaline originates from southern Africa. The rough stone was sourced for us directly from the source through our partners, inspected by us, and then expertly cut.
(*)To the best of our knowledge and according to information from our local partners, the gemstone is untreated.
For an additional fee, we’d be happy to arrange for a certificate from an independent gemological institute to be issued for this gemstone.
Images may vary depending on monitor settings. The videos of the stone were recorded without filters or color correction.
The true beauty of a gemstone is only revealed when you hold it in your hand. With every slight movement, the angle of the light, the reflections, and the play of colors change, giving each stone its own unique vibrancy.
Interesting Facts About Pink Tourmaline
Pink to fuchsia-colored tourmaline belongs to the diverse mineral group of tourmalines. Its color spectrum ranges from delicate rosé and peach tones through bright pink to bold, intense reddish-pink shades. Many stones display varying intensities of color depending on the angle of light and the direction from which they are viewed. Transparent tourmalines with a vibrant, as uniform as possible pink or rose color, high brilliance, and an excellent cut are particularly sought after.
Natural inclusions are characteristic features of a natural gemstone. They can provide clues about its natural origin and help distinguish it from synthetic or imitation materials. At the same time, clarity - along with color, cut, and carat weight - is one of the key factors that determine a gemstone’s quality and value.
High-quality rose- and pink-colored tourmalines attract the attention of collectors, gemstone enthusiasts, and buyers who view rare colored gemstones as long-term assets. Larger, transparent stones with intense, attractive color, very good clarity, and a precise cut that optimally showcases their color and brilliance are in particularly high demand. Exceptional specimens that combine these characteristics are available in limited quantities and may occupy a special position in the market due to their quality, size, and rarity. However, future value appreciation cannot be predicted and always depends on color, clarity, cut, carat weight, rarity, and demand.
