This natural, untreated goshenite, weighing 1.79 ct, was cut from the same 53.6 ct rough crystal. It is one of a total of four sister stones that were cut from the same original crystal. The high clarity of the rough material is also evident in this exceptionally well-proportioned gemstone.
Its nearly colorless appearance is accompanied by an extremely subtle bluish sheen, which gives goshenite a cool, fresh, and almost weightless aura. Depending on the angle of the light and the viewing angle, this delicate hue becomes more or less prominent, enriching the lively play of light without overshadowing the gemstone’s fundamentally colorless character. The stone is eye-clean and allows light to pass through the crystal almost unimpeded. This creates remarkable transparency, which beautifully highlights its pure and vibrant radiance.
The superbly executed square cushion cut combines the clean geometry of a square shape with gently rounded corners. Its precise faceting produces an exceptionally intense brilliance and causes the gemstone to sparkle with numerous bright reflections even with the slightest movement.
Especially with this compact, harmoniously proportioned goshenite, the cut produces an impressive play of light. Transparency, shape, and faceting combine to form a balanced overall composition that gives the stone a remarkably striking presence despite its delicate size.
As one of four sister stones, this goshenite traces the journey from the original rough crystal to the fully cut gemstone. It symbolizes natural origin, meticulous cutting planning, and the unique beauty of a colorless beryl, whose extraordinary brilliance has been brought to life through masterful craftsmanship.

(*)To the best of our knowledge and according to information from our local partners, the gemstone is untreated.
For an additional fee, we'd be happy to arrange for a certificate from an independent gemological institute to be issued for this gemstone.

The true beauty of a gemstone is only revealed when you hold it in your hand. With every slight movement, the angle of the light, the reflections, and the play of colors change, giving each stone its own unique vibrancy.
Interesting Facts About Goshenite
Goshenite is the colorless variety of the mineral beryl and thus belongs to the same important gemstone family as aquamarine, emerald, heliodor, and morganite. While these varieties derive their characteristic colors from various trace elements, goshenite is distinguished by the near-total absence of coloring components. Its beauty therefore lies not in an intense color, but in the crystal’s exceptional clarity and transparency.
Goshenite was named after the town of Goshen in the U.S. state of Massachusetts, where this colorless variety of beryl was first described. Today, high-quality crystals are also found in other major gemstone regions. Particularly clear specimens are best suited for use as cut gemstones, since a colorless crystal allows both its natural purity and the precision of the cut to be immediately visible.
The special allure of a high-quality goshenite stems from the interplay of light, transparency, and faceting. Since no distinct inherent color interferes with the incoming light, it can pass through the gemstone almost unimpeded. A precisely executed cut creates numerous bright reflections and gives the goshenite a clear, vibrant brilliance. Even the slightest movements alter the play of light, causing the gemstone to sparkle anew again and again.
It is precisely its colorlessness that places high demands on the quality of the rough crystal and on the cutter’s craftsmanship. Inclusions, proportions, and individual facets are more clearly visible than in more heavily colored gemstones. An exceptionally clear goshenite with harmonious proportions and meticulous faceting therefore possesses a quiet, almost weightless elegance that reveals its full depth only upon close inspection.
As a natural and untreated variety of beryl, goshenite embodies a particularly pristine form of this mineral. Its beauty stems not from color, but from clarity, light, and perfect transparency. As such, it exemplifies the philosophy of the Bennad Collection: to reveal the unadulterated beauty of a natural crystal through careful selection, documented origin, and masterful cutting.
