This extraordinary natural and untreated watermelon tourmaline, weighing 3.51 ct, was carved from a rough crystal weighing 11.52 ct. Its color pattern is so unique that we have given this stone its own name: “Eye of Horus.” Its shape and internal pattern are indeed reminiscent of a stylized Egyptian eye, giving it a very special, almost symbolic aura.

The color distribution is unusual and highly distinctive. Most of the stone displays a warm, vibrant pink, while a distinctly contrasting green stripe runs along one side. This natural zoning gives the tourmaline an asymmetrical, almost graphic appearance and makes it instantly recognizable at first glance.

Added to this are fine, glittering particles and reflections within the crystal. Depending on how the light hits it, they sparkle among the pink areas, lending the stone additional depth and vibrancy. Together with the green border, this creates a fascinating internal scene that is indeed reminiscent of the lines and structures of a stylized eye.
