This exceptionally beautiful, natural, and untreated iolite, weighing 1.84 ct, was cut from the same 26.97 ct rough crystal. Together with its 2.14 ct octagon-cut sister stone and a 0.41 ct pear-cut sister stone, it originated from the same original crystal. Its deep, rich violet-blue color gives it an expressive yet timelessly elegant appearance.

The stone exhibits beautiful transparency and appears almost eye-clean overall. Only slight natural growth features are visible. These remain subtle in the overall appearance and do not significantly detract from either the intense color or the clear appearance of the iolite. Rather, they discreetly attest to its natural formation.

The pronounced depth of color is particularly appealing. The rich violet-blue color appears deep and clear, and the crystal’s transparency lends it a remarkable three-dimensional effect. Depending on the angle of the light, deeper blue or more violet-tinged nuances come to the fore, giving the stone a lively and multifaceted appearance.
