This beautiful, natural, and untreated garnet, weighing 2.12 ct, was crafted from a 5.80 ct rough crystal. Its color ranges from deep dark red to vibrant ruby red with warm orange hues, giving the stone a very elegant yet powerful presence.

The vibrant play of colors within the stone is particularly captivating. Depending on the angle of the light, the darker red areas stand out more at times, while at other times an intense ruby-red glow emerges, accompanied in places by warm orange reflections. As a result, the color does not appear static, but rather multi-layered and three-dimensional.

Added to this are very beautiful, luminous reflections that make the stone sparkle anew with every movement. Especially when combined with its ruby-red base color, a warm, almost glowing effect is created, giving the garnet a remarkable presence.

The crystal features clearly visible natural growth characteristics, including small, bubble-like structures. These distinctly shape the stone’s internal appearance and attest to its natural formation. They clearly shape the stone’s internal appearance and reflect its natural formation. At the same time, the color and play of light remain strong enough to take center stage despite these structures.

The precisely executed oval cut gives the 2.12-ct garnet a harmonious, balanced shape. The soft silhouette enhances the vibrant interplay of dark red, ruby red, and orange, allowing the luminous reflections to dance beautifully across the facets.

It is precisely the combination of ruby-red depth of color, warm orange accents, vibrant reflections, and a clearly visible natural structure that gives this garnet its special character. It exudes power, warmth, and elegance all at once, and beautifully illustrates how a single raw crystal can be transformed into a stone with remarkable depth and unique patterns.

The Garnet originates from southern Africa. The rough stone was sourced for us directly from the source through our partners, inspected by us, and then expertly cut.

(*)To the best of our knowledge and according to information from our local partners, the gemstone is untreated.

For an additional fee, we’d be happy to arrange for a certificate from an independent gemological institute to be issued for this gemstone.

Images may vary depending on monitor settings. The videos of the stone were recorded without filters or color correction.

The true beauty of a gemstone is only revealed when you hold it in your hand. With every slight movement, the angle of the light, the reflections, and the play of colors change, giving each stone its own unique vibrancy.

Interesting Facts About Garnet

Garnet refers to a group of closely related minerals that occur as gemstones in an exceptionally wide variety of colors. The spectrum ranges from deep red and purple through orange and yellow to green. Orange and tangerine-colored garnets are particularly attractive; their warm tones can range from golden orange to vibrant tangerine orange to intense orange-red. These shades are particularly associated with spessartine garnets and, when highly transparent, can produce a strikingly luminous, almost glowing effect.

Natural inclusions and growth features are characteristic traits of a natural gemstone. They can provide clues about its natural origin and help distinguish it from synthetic or imitation materials. At the same time, clarity - along with color, cut, and carat weight - is one of the key factors that determine the quality and value of a garnet.

Transparent garnets with intense, uniform color and vibrant brilliance are particularly prized. Among orange stones, clear, rich mandarin and orange hues are especially sought after. Larger specimens with high transparency and intense color saturation are relatively rare and are particularly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of exceptional colored gemstones. Quality and value depend primarily on color, transparency, clarity, cut, variety, and carat weight; however, future value appreciation cannot be predicted and is always determined by quality, rarity, and demand.
